The specialized armored vehicle “Novator” manufactured by the company “Ukrainian armor” in a short time became a hit not only in the Armed Forces and special forces units of Ukraine but also abroad.

Officers and fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Marines, Airborne and Assault Forces, Special Operations Forces and Military Intelligence of the Land Forces – as well as the Security Service of Ukraine “Alfa”, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service and the Special Forces were involved in its development as experts for which it is actually intended.

Numerous testings have confirmed all the claimed specifications of the vehicle.

In recent months, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles has received a large number of requests for the purchase of a civilian version of Novator. In this regard, the company decided to develop such a variant of the popular military vehicle.

“We are not talking about the manufacturing of a soft roader with a ‘brutal’ appearance, which you can park at the entrance of a night club or ride around with the girls after the disco, – said the Director of Ukrainian Armor LLC Olexander Kuzma. – Although this vehicle is on the highway it behaves like a sport vehicle, its original nature is on and off road, forests, and mountains, and the destination is travel and real adventures.

Acceptance of orders for Novator-CV will begin at the end of 2020. In all but armor protection, the civilian version will match its military counterpart.

The Novator-CV will have a 6.7-liter eight-cylinder turbo diesel with a power output of 300 hp, which will provide 895 N * m of torque. The top speed of 180 km/h.

The vehicle will retain the ability to confidently overcome slopes with an angle of up to 60% and fords deep to 0.7 meters, as well as to move with a back slope of up to 50%, while transporting cargo the compartment carries up to 2 tons.

The all-wheel-drive five-seater will be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, air suspension with variable clearance, hydraulic dual brakes with ABS, a powerful shock-proof and moisture-proof electric winch with a length of 30 meters.

In the base trim, the vehicle will keep the night driving system, heated glass and mirrors, sunroof, high-speed automatic fire extinguishing system and engine, central tire inflation system, 220 volt electric inverter, connectors for charging mobile phones and radios, as well as a climate control system for comfortable operation of the vehicle at a temperature of -40 to +50 C.

“We plan to invest the revenue from the civilian version of Novator into the development and production of new models of weapons and military equipment for the Ukrainian army,” said Andriy Senchenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of Ukrainian Armor LLC.
