Between February 16 and 18, Ukrainian Armor hosted the official delegation of the National Gendarmerie of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Senegal that came to Ukraine to establish contacts with innovative defense companies.
Headed by Commander of the National Gendarmerie Colonel Diouf Papa, the Senegal’s representatives visited the Ukrainian Armor’s technical base in Novi Petrivtsi, familiarized themselves with the company’s products, and tested the flexibility and reliability of MRAP Varta and APC Novator during the test drive across show-covered fields.
In the negotiations, the delegation vested interest in armored combat vehicles and tactical vehicles to the Republic of Senegal.
The delegation Head noted: “Ukrainian Armor’s armored vehicles fully comply with the requirements to wheeled military vehicles that the divisions of the National Gendarmerie operate. Shortly, we will invite the company’s representatives to Senegal to continue the negotiations and conclude the contract.”
To fix the arrangements, Ukrainian Armor and the representatives of Senegal signed the Protocol of Intent.
