The “VARTA 2” armored combat wheeled vehicle with a 30 mm combat module is a novelty not only for Ukraine but also for the European market. This was stated by Vladyslav Belbas, Director General of Ukrainian Armor LLC, commenting on the novelties presented by Ukrainian manufacturers at the MSPO 2024 International Defense Exhibition in Kielce, Poland.
According to him, in addition to the “VARTA 2” armored vehicle and the UGV Protector remote-controlled ground robot from Ukrainian Armor, the NAUDI joint stand also features other novelties from Ukrainian manufacturers, including unmanned systems, electronic warfare solutions, thermal imagers, personal protective equipment, etc.
He noted the high interest of exhibitors in Ukrainian military products that have been tested in combat.
According to Belbas, the participation of Ukrainian manufacturers in such exhibitions is important.
“At such exhibitions, we build partnerships, look for suppliers of components and build new supply chains. We are in a full-scale war, and the production volumes that were and are in Ukraine are insufficient – they need to be scaled up, new production lines need to be launched, machines and components need to be purchased – for this, we need to communicate with external suppliers and partners,” he said.
