October 11, the eve of the Day of Defender of Ukraine in the International Exhibition Center started XIII International Specialized Exhibition “Arms and Security – 2016”.
The exhibition “Arms and Security – 2016” in the area over 19 000 sq.m. attended by 299 companies, including 19 foreign companies from Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, China and UAE.
On the stand “Ukrainian armored vehicle” was presented SBA to transport paratroopers, namely, specialized armored vehicle “Varta 6×6”, which is built on the chassis ZIL-131 with modernized armored capsule that protects the crew when a landmine under the wheel and head, power up 6 kg of TNT and shrapnel and bullets of caliber 7,62 × 54R mm rifle SRS.
Also presented the armored vehicle “Varta 4×4”, previously presented at the exhibition “Eurosatory-2016” in Paris. At the end of planned presentation SBA “Guard” of the new generation, the design of which took into account the wishes of the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard of Ukraine after passing all tests during the year.
The highlight of the event was the all-terrain vehicle “Plast” joint development of Belarusian and Ukrainian engineers released high pryhidnymy properties, namely Extra-low pressure tires that allow you to easily overcome almost any obstacle at the Swamp area, virgin snow, or even in the water.
Also on display was presented armored vehicle to transport the wounded, who created the modern chassis van Ford Transit. Only the show car back from the zone ATO, which has helped save more than 100 lives. Salon can accommodate up to 8 sitting wounded or 4 lying. It is also possible the simultaneous transport of 4 and 3 bed-sitting, or 8 sitting and lying 2 fighters.
