The production area of Ukrainian Armor increased 10 times last year. This was stated by Vladyslav Belbas, director general of Ukrainian Armor LLC, in an interview with Forbes.
“In mortars (production capacities have changed – ed.) – slightly, in armored vehicles – 3.5 times, in ammunition – 10 times. We have significantly expanded our production sites and opened a plant for ammunition equipment. Overall, the production area has increased 10 times,” said Belbas.
He also noted that the company is one of the leaders among specialty importers.
“We are indeed among the leaders, but the issue here is not who ‘outbid’ whom, but the efficiency of contract fulfillment. There were cases when state-owned companies failed to fulfill their obligations due to supply disruptions or inefficient planning. We worked steadily, quickly and rhythmically, so orders were concentrated with us,” he says.
“In times of war, the state buys from those who can provide the army with the necessary supplies faster and better. We prove it every day,” added director general of Ukrainian Armor LLC.
