Representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence visited “Ukrainian Armor”

On Thursday, July 30, The Secretary of The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence Roman Kostenko  visited “Ukrainian Armorin  Novy Petrivtsi.

The visit included a presentation of existing and advanced models of wheeled and tracked vehicles, artillery and ammunition manufactured by the company.

“For the seventh year in a row, our country is de facto in a state of war. In the current environment, manufacturers of military equipment and weapons, law enforcement agencies and government agencies must constantly work closely together. Only in this way will we be able to build our own military-industrial complex, strengthen the country’s defence capabilities and counter external threats at the current level, ” – Vladyslav Belbas, Director General of “Ukrainian Armor”said.

The company’s team, led by the Director General, conducted a familiarization tour of the production facilities for Roman Kostenko and Yuri Fedorenko, demonstrating the entire system of creating special armored vehicles.

“Development of modern technological domestic enterprises of the defence industry is a guarantee of security and prosperity of our country,” – MP Roman Kostenko said during the visit.

At the final stage of the tour, representatives of the Committee were invited to personally test the properties of APC “VARTA” and LAV “NOVATOR” in off-road conditions.

“It is very satisfying to see the interest of the authorities in the private sector of the defence industry and the desire for a constructive dialogue. We speak the same language, look in the same direction and, above all, we want to see the country strong, ” – Vladislav Belbas summed up.
