On October 9, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky accompanied by the Chief of General Staff Ruslan Khomchak and the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov visited the Arms and Security 2019 exhibition held at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv and got acquainted with the latest developments in military equipment and weapons.
The director of the design and manufacturing company Ukrainian Armor, Olexander Kuzma, proudly delivered a presentation to the Head of Ukraine,  Volodymyr Zelensky, of a specialized armored vehicle VARTA and NOVATOR with an anti-tank rocket complex “Amulet” capable of destroying tanks and armaments on 5 kilometer distance and all-wheel drive multifunctional  frontline ambulance, which has been tested in the area of ​​the OOS since 2016, which saved the lives of more than 500 wounded soldiers. An innovative project was also presented for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,  Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV), capable of protecting the crew from a 30mm caliber bullet.
“We need to have an even stronger army. We respect our military, who are very pleased with the innovative inventions of Ukrainian design bureaus. We have to be very productive for our army to reach ba high level, ”the President stressed.
APC VARTA: has passed the testings at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, two controlled operations in the OOS area. It is supplied and used in the OOS area by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, special units of the National Police (CORD, TOR, Special Purpose Police), by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. VARTA is the first vehicle among the Ukrainian MRAP to be successfully exported. There was made more than 200 vehicles. The average range of armored vehicles operated in the area of ​​OOS equals to 25 000 km. The total mileage of all armored vehicles is more than 3 million km.
APC NOVATOR: has passed the testings at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine. It was separately tested in the Airborne Assault Troops, the Marines of Ukraine, the Special Forces of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. NOVATOR has passed testings in the area of ​​the OOS by special units of the National Guard of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense. It is supplied and used by the National Guard of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Ukrainian mortar launchers and ammunition of 60mm, 82mm, and 120mm calibers have successfully passed all testings and are successfully used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
