Ukrainian Armor delivers M113 armored personnel carriers to fighters of the «Fury» assault brigade

Today, M113 APCs are already helping fighters of the National Police assault brigade “Fury” perform combat missions on the frontline.

Ukrainian Armor has supplied APCs to the Joint Assault Brigade “Fury” at the request of the National Police of Ukraine.

M113 tracked armored personnel carriers have been in service in the Ukrainian Defense Forces since 2022. The equipment has proven itself very well during the full-scale war in Ukraine and is involved in combat operations in various parts of the frontline.

Today it is one of the most widely used combat vehicles in the world. It is currently in service in 44 countries. For more than half a century, 80 thousand units have been produced in more than 40 modifications.

The armored personnel carrier M113 weighs 11,440 kg and can carry two crew members and 11 passengers. The M113 engine has an output of 265 hp and a speed of 61 km/h. The armor provides all-round protection against 7.62 caliber bullets, the frontal part – against 12.7 caliber bullets.

The armament consists of one 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine gun with the possibility of installing additional protection for the shooter in the turret. The M113 can also be armed with the Mk 19 automatic grenade launcher or the M47 Dragon or BGM-71 TOW anti-tank systems.
