The first batch of Novator 2 armored personnel carriers has been delivered to the National Guard of Ukraine.

The Novator 2 armored personnel carrier is a continuation of the company’s vehicle line. It was developed on the basis of the Novator armored personnel carrier, which has been supplied to the Ukrainian Defense Forces since 2018. The prototype was first presented at the MSPO International Defense Industry Exhibition in Poland in September 2023. The vehicle was developed during the war, taking into account the experience of using the Novator by various units in combat conditions.

“Novator-2 was made to our order. It was important for us to get an armored vehicle for a combat group of 9 people. It was a request from the frontline, what the soldiers need today. Each combat brigade of the National Guard will receive such vehicles,” said Oleksandr Bilous, Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, during the handover of the first batch of vehicles.

“We have taken into account all the wishes of the National Guard. The armored vehicle underwent almost a year of testing before it was put into production. “Ukrainian Armor was the first manufacturer to supply vehicles with electronic warfare systems. We look forward to cooperation and feedback from combat units on how the vehicle performs in combat conditions to improve it as much as possible, taking into account the realities of modern warfare,” said Vladyslav Belbas, director general of Ukrainian Armor LLC.
