Within the framework of the XVII International Specialized Exhibition “Arms and Security-2021” the design and manufacturing company “Ukrainian Armor” presented a mobile mortar complex “Smereka”, developed by order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“Smereka” is a 120-mm mobile mortar complex created based on MRAP Varta. It is a system with automatic deployment and targeting, with large-scale “digitization” and integration into modern command and control systems. Range of fire – up to 7.5 km.

Mobility and accuracy of firing are the most important prerequisites for effective combat operations, said Vladyslav Belbas, General Director of the Ukrainian Armored Vehicle. “Smereka allows you to enter the coordinates of the target in advance, deploy the system in a minimum of time and carry out offensive actions, and change position before the enemy strikes back.”

The complex is designed for the use of mortars UPIK-82 and MP-120, which have successfully passed state tests.
