Ukrainian Armor managed to save money under the state contract for the production of LAV “Novator”. This allowed the company to surpass its obligations and, in fact, to supply the National Guard with an additional armored vehicle “Novator”  free of charge. The delivery took place on Friday, May 29.

“Despite a number of restrictive measures introduced in Ukraine and the world in connection with the pandemic, prolonged procedures of customs clearance of foreign components and the practical shutdown of many enterprises in the sector, we managed to supply the National Guard with an additional “Novator”, – said Vladislav Belbas, Director General of “Ukrainian Armor”. – In the near future, this modern vehicle will join its armored ‘brothers’ and help our guardsmen to defend Ukraine.”

It bears reminding that that at the end of March, “Ukrainian Armor” manufactured and handed over to the National Guard of Ukraine a consignment of specialized armored vehicles “Novator”, adapted for operation in difficult off-road conditions. The vehicles are equipped with a radio station, night vision devices, an automatic fire extinguishing system, a special video recorder and a semi-automatic tire pumping system.
