Following the invitation from Ukrainian Armor, the NAUDI member, in mid-September, the official delegation of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania visited Ukraine. General de Brigade Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ould Boide, Special Forces Commander, headed the Delegation.
Friday, September 17, the delegates arrived at the Ukrainian Armor technical base in Novi Petrivtsi to get an insight into the company’s products and emerging projects.
“Technical solutions comply with the most demanding customer requirements. Currently, the Special Forces of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania search of complex solutions to pursue their objectives. Therefore, we have a solid ground for multisector and multistep cooperation, – noted Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ould Boide. – I am impressed with the results you managed to achieve within the short timeframe. Your company’s performance once again confirms my credence in contracting, compliance, and procedures.”
The representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Mauritania were focused on the opportunities to supply the Special Forces of Mauritania with modern military equipment, i.e. command vehicles, wheeled armored vehicles, and special-purpose vehicles such as UAV mobile complexes, radio-electronic counter-UAV complexes, remote-controlled weapon stations, anti-tank missile complexes, etc.
“International contracting is a prerequisite of our company’s sustainable development, – noted Vladislav Belbas, Director General at Ukrainian Armor. – We embrace the opportunity to establish business relations with the defense and security agencies of Mauritania and hope for further negotiations on supplying the Armed Forces with state-of-the-art military equipment and armament.”
