“Ukrainian Armor” LLC, together with the Czech holding Czechoslovak Group (CSG), is launching the production of 155-mm artillery rounds in Ukraine.
The company signed the relevant cooperation agreements on the sidelines of DFNC2: International Defense Industries Forum.
One agreement concerns the supply of components, and the other is for licensing the production of ammunition (transfer of technology and documentation for the production of artillery rounds).
The process of obtaining the license will continue until the end of this year, and production is scheduled to begin in early 2025.
“We plan to produce and supply about 100,000 rounds of ammunition next year, and more than 300,000 in 2026. The process of preparing the equipment has already begun,” Vladyslav Belbas, Director General of “Ukrainian Armor” LLC, told Militarnyi in an interview.

He noted that part of the ammunition will be produced in Ukraine and part in the Czech Republic. Such cooperation will allow the companies to increase the production of ammunition and reduce the cost of a completed round. Increasing the supply of such ammunition is obviously one of the key problems of supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine both on its own and with the help of supplies from partners.
We are talking about the production of 155-mm HE M107 artillery rounds, as well as their long-range ER-BT VMK/MKM modifications. In addition, it is planned to produce other artillery rounds, as well as tank rounds of the NATO caliber.
